*Technically, the full name of the event is “The JoCo Virtual Cruise 2021 National Corn on the Cob Day and National German Chocolate Cake Zoom Dance Partybration”, because June 11th is also National German Chocolate Cake Day. But we felt that was a little too excessive to list out. Nonetheless, please feel free to also celebrate German Chocolate Cake during this event.

The Zoom Dance Party was one of the biggest hits of the Virtual Cruise event, and we knew as soon as it was done that we’d want to do another one. And the US is celebrating National Corn on the Cob Day on June 11th, so we figured the two were an obvious, perfect match! (Rumors that we scheduled the event for June 11th and only afterward realized that it was National Corn of the Cob Day are scurrilous and untrue.)

So on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 10pm – 1am Eastern, please join us on the (virtual) dance floor while DJ Riz Rollins spins for three solid hours, and we celebrate corn on the cob in the appropriate manner—through dance!—by clicking the button below.

This dance party will be held via Zoom, so you’ll need to have that installed on your computer or device; feel free to turn your camera on if you’d like to be visible to other participants. No need to pre-register or anything; just show up and be ready to dance! And please remember that the JoCo Cruise Code of Conduct applies to all Virtual Cruise events (re: content, nudity, harassment, etc.).

The official Discord server for all things JoCo Cruise will act as our main moderated community space during the event. It’s a free-to-join dedicated social space for both text and voice discussions that’s accessible via the Discord app or any web browser.
