What is 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC)?
The purpose of this program is to provide those individuals who cancel their JoCo Cruise 2022 booking an opportunity to apply for credit that can be applied toward a booking on JoCo Cruise 2023. This program is created and managed by JoCo Cruise, and is not connected with Holland America Line’s or any other company’s initiatives.
The terms governing qualification for and application of 23FCC are listed in this document. 23FCC cannot be redeemed as cash, and is not transferable in any way. Exceptions cannot be made to the terms listed herein.
Who is eligible to receive 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC)?
Primary Contacts with a reservation on JoCo Cruise 2022 may be eligible for 23FCC in specific circumstances. Please see the JoCo Cruise 2022 Cancellation Policy for the terms governing issuance of 23FCC.
Primary Contacts who with to cancel their 2022 booking and receive 23FCC should email us at [email protected]. We will send you a “23FCC Issuance Form” which you must fill out, sign, date and return in order to be issued your 23FCC. Once executed, the 23FCC Issuance Form constitutes a receipt for the Primary Contact of their 23FCC.
Can I apply my 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) to a 2023 booking if I am not that new booking’s Primary Contact?
No. Your 23FCC may only be applied to a 2023 booking for which you are the Primary Contact.
How do I apply my 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC)?
Your 23FCC may be applied by booking via a customized 23FCC link that will be emailed directly to you later this year. (You must be the 2023 booking’s Primary Contact in this case.)
This link will only be active once 2023 booking has opened. If you have issues booking via this link, or do not see your credit reflected as you complete your booking, please contact [email protected].
Toward which sailing(s) may I apply my 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC)?
23FCC is not redeemable as cash and is only applicable to bookings on JoCo Cruise 2023 per the terms described herein. No other sailings of any kind are eligible.
Who is the Primary Contact on a JoCo Cruise Booking?
The Primary Contact is the first listed passenger for that booking in the JoCo Cruise User Account System. The Primary Contact is the person who made the initial booking online for JoCo Cruise and is, ultimately, responsible for all the payment arrangements in your booking. Can I receive my 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) directly even if I’m not the Primary Contact on the existing booking?
2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) may only be applied by the eligible Primary Contact to whom it was granted, and that person must be the Primary Contact for a 2023 booking to apply their 23FCC to that booking. It cannot be transferred to anyone else under any circumstances (neither before nor after it is applied).
23FCC will not “follow” you if you move to another booking. If you apply your credit to one booking and then move to another booking, your credit is voided. Once voided, credits will be considered “used” and will no longer be valid.
I have a 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) and won’t be able to use it. Can I apply it to another JoCo Cruise?
No, 23FCC is only applicable to JoCo Cruise 2023. If you choose not to apply it to 2023 JoCo Cruise Booking, 23FCC is void and not redeemable for cash.
I chose to receive 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC), and now it turns out I can’t sail in 2023, or must cancel my 2023 booking; can I apply it to another cruise (JoCo Cruise or otherwise) or receive a cash refund for it instead?
No, 23FCC is only applicable to JoCo Cruise 2023. If you choose not to apply it to 2023 JoCo Cruise Booking, 23FCC is void and not redeemable for cash or any other sailing.
If you cancel or otherwise depart a 2023 booking, 23FCC is voided. Once voided, credits will be considered “used” and will no longer be valid. Any funds paid above the 23FCC will be subject to the JoCo Cruise cancellation policy for that year.
Can I redeem all or part of my 2023 Future Cruise Credit as cash?
No. 2023 Future Cruise Credit has no cash value.
After applying my 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC), I have a negative balance on my account. Can I get that applied as onboard credit or remitted to me?
Any negative balance on your account is not redeemable in any way. If you wish to redeem the full amount of your 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC), we recommend choosing a cabin class at or above the amount of your credit. If you have a negative balance on your account, that balance will remain until two weeks prior to sailing and may be applied to stateroom upgrades, if they are available. (So, for example, if your original booking was for a Verandah stateroom, you could book a Suite—or if none are currently available, sign up on the 2023 wait list for a Suite—and if one becomes available, you could apply your negative balance toward the price increase.)
Negative balances which remain on JoCo Cruise User Accounts will be “zeroed out” and considered void as of two weeks prior to sailing. They will not be redeemable in any way after that time, and cannot be applied to onboard upgrades or any other onboard expense. Once voided, credits will be considered “used” and will no longer be valid.
Can I apply any remaining 2023 Future Cruise Credit balance toward JoCo Cruise merchandise (either online or onboard) or other onboard purchases (e.g., drinks, spa amenities, etc.)?
No. 2023 Future Cruise Credit can only be applied toward stateroom costs, and cannot be applied to any other pre-cruise purchases or onboard expenses.
How was my 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) calculated?
I purchased travel insurance for JoCo Cruise 2022, how does the 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) impact that?
JoCo Cruise guests are responsible for their own travel insurance arrangements. Contact your insurance provider directly to review their policies and terms regarding transferring your policy or canceling and getting a refund on your premium.
Will any of Holland America Line’s Future Cruise Credit programs apply to JoCo Cruise?
No. 2023 Future Cruise Credit is created, managed, and paid for by JoCo Cruise, and is not connected with Holland America Line’s or any other company’s initiatives.
Are there any additional terms and conditions?
In addition to all terms and conditions listed above, 2023 Future Cruise Credit (23FCC) is subject to the following additional terms and conditions:
- All JoCo Cruise reservations made using 23FCC are subject to the JoCo Cruise Terms and Conditions for the chosen year’s sailing, which may be changed at any time. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions at the time of booking.
- Qualification is determined by JoCo Cruise at its sole discretion.
- 23FCC is only offered to primary contacts who have canceled their JoCo Cruise 2022 bookings and is subject to the JoCo Cruise 2022 Cancelation Policy.
- 23FCC may be modified or withdrawn at any time by JoCo Cruise without prior notice, and may be subject to additional terms and conditions as provided by JoCo Cruise.
